Default Power Heated Mirror Wiring.

Hello guys. I'm hoping someone here can help me.

I have a 98 Blazer LT 4dr 4X4. I have power heated mirrors. I did not like the original "skinny" armed mirrors so I figured I'd upgrade them to the "thick" armed mirrors on the 99 and up S10s. They fit okay but the problem is this. The wire colors are different of course[:@]. So I was wondering if anyone knew which colors cause which action from the mirror and door? If you were able to provide me with the correct action of the wires that come from the door, it would be most helpful. I could figure out the rest. Thanks.

i would check with a parts store, because a knew mirror in the box should have either a schematic explaining where they go, or they will have the little tabs on the end of the wires.

Oh. Maybe I should have supplied this little bit of info. The "tabs" are different. They won't simply plug up. GM, for some reason, thought it would be a good idea to change the color of the wiring and the plugs also. Silly me.

well personaly i might try to repace the plug ends on one end of the wires so they hook up right and then either plug in the ones that i know are posite and negative and go one by one for instance yellow to blue and test my features if they work until they all work. or retach the old ones first hook up a wire tester to each wire and test all your features till you know what all the wires are for , actualy you could try to open up the mirrors wtih out breaking the new ones and compare where each wire sems to go that way if bue wire on one heads toward a heating element and the yellow wire does that same on the other attach yellow to blue. other wise try searching online for a coding chart or call up the manufacturer/dealership where you got them from.
