It shows the evap purge solenoid hose it is circled by the p, on my 97 2dr blazer 4x4 There is a weird clip that looks like it goes sideways through the hose and holds in the solenoid, any idea how to get it out? Thanks.

The grey/white plastic clip is an c-clip. You need a small right angle pick to lift the clip out of the end of the evap line. Be careful as they like to go flying when you get them out...

Thanks.

Thats weird, cause I cant see where there is an opening on the clip like the gap on the "C" It appears I would have to rotate it to slide it out as both sides of the plastic are solid there is no opening in them if that makes sense, I included a pic to show how it has to be in there if it is a c-clip, thanks for your help I really cant afford to ruin this. Sorry about the bad pic but this hopefully explains it,

That's strange... It looks like somehow the clip rotated in there... Should be able to pick at the clip and get it to rotate, then pull it out the side.
