Radiator replacement and Coolant change
So tomorrow I will be flushing my cooling system in my 97 4x4 2dr Blazer and replacing by radiator my question is does anyone have a diagram of the coolant passages and coolant path? Is there always coolant flowing through the heater core? Is there a bypass around the thermostat? Im wondering because I got a flush T to install and wouldnt it be stopped by the thermostat I was going to remove the thermostat to do the flush... Any other info would be appreciated. This is my first flush I got the prestone flush fluid and 'T' flush kit. I will be putting in a new thermostat and radiator cap also.

Doing a little more research it looks like there is a coolant bypass hose I found on my parts site... So I take it coolant is always flowing through the system via the bypass when the thermostat is closed? Help would be appreciated for any of my many questions I would really like to understand this better as I will be doing the job in an hour and a half.

Buy the flush kit at parts store it's about 4.00 you cut the heater hose and it fits in the one the directions tell you, it's real easy just do it before you put in new radiator.
And yes coolant always flows through heater core
And yes coolant always flows through heater core
