Rattling right front brake caliper

Rattling right front brake caliper
My right front brake caliper on my 1996 S10 Blazer has been rattling for some time. The brakes work fine, but the caliper is pretty loose on the brackets. The pins are tightened, yet the caliper still rattles annoyingly when I hit bumps or pot holes. Were there some kind of rubber bushings inside the pin holes that have perhaps worn away? What am I missing from the caliper that is allowing it to rattle so badly?

Go to the parts store and tell them you need a pin and bushing kit for your front caliper. That will quiet it right up.
and you are right, there are rubber bushings that fit in a grove on the caliper, and then over that goes a metal sleeve/sliders. chances are the rubber bushings are gone
