Recharge 95 Blazer A/C

If my system is completely empty and the compressor does not kick on how do I had freon?

Have you read any threads on this subject? Try checking out the Tech Article (DIY) section. Another member wrote up some very good articles on the subject of A/C.

put in a jumper wire on the switch until it works on its on

good insturctions 96blzer nut i have the same exact model and everything for some stupid reason i was doing wrong hence the term noobie

The #2 in that picture is the high pressure side (liquid refrigerant) line, You should only charge the system on the low pressure (suction) side of the system, which is the #1 in your picture. If you're going to use one of those cheapo single blue hose auto-parts store set-ups that's attached to the can then the blue hose on the 134a refrigerant can will only connect to the correct low pressure fitting, it won't connect to the high pressure fitting because they're different sizes.
