remote oil line replacement
#11
Thanks so much for this information, especially on the how-to DIY your own oil cooler line. I went to the local auto parts strore, was quoted $150 for both hoses ($100+$50). I am just hoping my rear oil line to the engine block is easy to get at, but as far as I can tell its just the filter location thats leaking. I saved the link to my favorites, makes so much sense once you read through the how-to link. Best link ever!
Transmission Line and Hydraulic Line are both good?
Probably a better choice for a 10+ year run! Like radiator hose, I betcha the oil line itself will break down, especially when offroading like what I will be doing.
What about the metal braided lines? Even Better Choice wouldnt it?
Might as well drop a hundred on a solid install!
