help on pa and ball

Default help on pa and ball

on my bumper i cant seem to get the plactic cover off where the trailer ball goes anyone know why its hard or how i thought im soposed to pop up pretty easy, also anyone know where i can get a nice but small pa horn i had the one at radioshack the 50 watt but it didint fit behind my grill, to big i want a really good one but small to where i can have it behind the grill.

i took a knife and cut the plastic square off of mine to put a ball in.

yea but shouldint it just pop off my lil brothers did off his s10 i dont really what to cut it then when i take the ball off there be a cut square there.

You have to cut it out. Then if you want to put it back the way it was, you have to buy an entire new part (the step pad thing).

Why waste your time with all that for what...500 lbs towing?

I think they have like a 2500lb capacity or something like that (that is what my sonoma had).

Not from the rear bumper, IIRC I think its about 500-1,000lbs at most on the rear bumper. If you just get a class 3 hitch for like $150 installed then you can pull 5,000lbs.

if i could i would get a real hitch but money is an issuse plus the only thing il propply haul is a canue with a troller motor for bass fishin. im still in school i have 1 more year left them im wanting to go into the navy so i hope that help with some money, plus i want to do a 6 inch lift or 4 so most likely after that il have to have a real one. but for time being this is easyer
