Sometimes heat, sometimes not!

Sometimes heat, sometimes not!
Alright. First, I'd like to thank everyone for their help for my last problem...Turns out the blower motor was bad, and therefore I replaced it. NOW, I have a new problem. When I start the vehicle in the morning, and let it idle for 15 minutes, I have hardly any heat in it till I start moving. Then, good heat comes out for a little while, but then turns to luke warm air at best....Then, a little later, comes back out hot. I have felt both heater hoses, and sometimes they are both hot, sometimes the bottom one is cold. Now, I have replaced the water pump and thermostat in this just about 2 months ago, BEFORE it was really cold. The temp gauge seems to always read correctly. I was thinking either the new thermostat is bad, OR maybe the radiator cap isn't pressurizing the system until it has a load on it. PLEASE HELP!!! It's a little chilly here...LOL!! (10 degrees)

Flush the core. There is a how-to in the Tech Article (DIY) Index link found in my signature below.
Once that is done, make absolutely sure that you get all of the air out of the system.
