With 1 worn in head and 1 re-man head would there be any issues with balancing or am I over thinking this?

Depending on what caused the failure, and provided they repair it properly, the "issue" could be other valves failing for the same reason

I had a similar issue with cyl#6. Took out that head and off it went to the shop. They found another valve with issues that needed replacing. I decided to pull the other head on their recommendation. They found a bad valve there too. I hated to pull that 2nd head at the time but glad I did in retrospect. I only had to do the total job once.

Good choice In the second image, (the one that shows all 3 cylinders) the exhaust valves on cylinders 1 & 5 look different, indicating a problem there too, (tan color is good). Who knows what 2, 4, & 6 look like. Keep us posted.

Is this the Knock Sensor? It is on the back of the block, left side (impossible to see with heads & intake in the way). Should the top portion where it the plug attaches be loose?

Yes, that is the knock sensor, and no, it should not move. Oil pressure sending unit right next to it.

I guess that I hit it getting the head off. Will replace while I have access to it. Thanks.

Hopefully "reman" of the heads include head resurface, valve job, new valves, springs, valve seals, keepers, rockers(?). Have the head shop check all the rocker studs, maybe pin them(?).

Must admit that from the two pictures I am unable to see the impact on #3 exhaust valve....I just do not see any shiney metal.

Piston is probably okay, would like to see what the top of it looks like.

Don't forget the valve guides😉 most likely the root cause. #3 exhaust guide will definitely need some attention, possibly replacement. A good clear close up image of the piston at TDC would be interesting indeed.
