Sudden No Crank condition - 99 ZR-2
Finish work at 2 AM, go to start truck nothing happens. Lights all work, horn works, battery is in good shape.
Crawl under, whack starter, nothing happens.
Also, lights do not even dim when the key is turned to crank it up.
Any help is appreciated.

Check battery cable connections at both ends, positive and negative cables, (this will require taking them apart). They need to be shiny clean. If that doesn't fix it, you will need a voltmeter, and we can help you with diagnosis.

Pretty sure it's the starter solenoid. Relay clicks, fuses are good. Battery terminals are nice a tight and clean.
I jumped it across the solenoid poles while in 'run' and it fired up and I got it home. Gonna go over it this weekend hopefully nice weather.

With the ignition switch in the START position: Check for voltage on the solenoid stud that the purple wire attaches to, (not the wire, the stud). The purple wire comes from the starter relay and a poor connection there would give the symptoms you have.

I found the wire to the solenoid was broken at the terminal. I cut it and crimped on another spade terminal and the Red Tonka is good to go!!! My kind of fix.....cheap and easy!!
Thanks everybody.
