Throttle Blade Sticking

Throttle Blade Sticking
So I cleaned my throttle body; took the IAC out and cleaned that, took the blade out and cleaned it with degreaser and steel wool. Now the blade will stick open and I have a P0507. My rpms in neutral are about 1500! And driving it will stay around 1500 also. If I pop the hood I can close it all the way and it sits at normal idle.

Sounds like you didn't get the blade put back on perfectly centered on the throttle shaft. Try loosening the screws and allowing the throttle do close all the way, then tighten the screws back into place. Also, you should use red loctite on the throttle blade screws to keep them from backing out.

I had a spare throttle body in my garage. Cleaned it up with some super clean and reinstalled it. Runs perfect!!!! But now I have a new code, P0140. My dad had the truck before me and replace all the sensors except the one after the cat.
