Strange noises

Default Strange noises

Okay I mightnot haveposted this in the right place but anyway, stupid me decided to do a burnout the other night and now theres a metal on metal noise (not sure where its comeing from)it starts over 50kmh but its not constant but its more annoying then anything. should I be concerend with it? anyway thanks in advance

Gonna need to find where the noise is from before any help can be done. Does it sound like the engine, the front or rear wheels, etc.

Try to pinpoint the noise, then post back your findings. It could be many different things (brake pads worn down, bearings, u joints, something in the motor, etc.) the list just goes on.

It didnt do anything today, but i know i need a new drivebelt and possibly one of the pulleys (not to sure which one) so Im thinking that could be it, Ill replace it on the weekend and see how it goes,might repost next week.

I dought the pully and belt would cause a metal on metal noise as you describe especially only occuring at 50+. As far as your pulley its most likely the tensioner pulley I had like two changed both with delco part and my sister in law has the same pulley on her camaro and its problematic also.
