Default RE: urgent Help Needed

She is pushing the brake prior to pulling on the lever right...? If she is, then the problem is most likely the shift interlock control module in the shifter... Bad part is, I do not know if this is servicable. First check to make sure that you hear some kind of a click from the center console when you apply the brakes with the key in the RUN position. If you do not, then inspect the brake switch for proper activation of the brake lights.

*Moving to 2nd Gen Tech* - This is neither an engine or transmission problem. Also, just a helpful tip. Try to be briefly descriptive with thread titles. It helps you get your problem answered faster as well as allows others to find the same help faster and easier later on down the road through searching.

Thats sounds like the problem she's on her way home now. Is this hard to fix?

Does this sound right to you?

Overide lever is mounted on the right of the assembly. Accessed by removing the shift boot---push to lever to the left in order to override the Brake Transmission Interlock. Should shift after this.
