Hi..It's been awhile since I last posted, but I've got a new problem.. the warning lights on my dash just come on by themself. after sitting over nite, all the lights will be on before I even put the key in. and the mileage odometor will be all scrambled not showing any numbers at all, the car will start but the tach won't work and the gas guage won't work..I thought this was caused by the ECM so I got another and had it programed for my serial nr. It was ok for a while, but now it's started doing the same thing again. Is there something else that could be causing this weird behavior? (this is on a 98 4x4) any suggestions will be appreciated......Bud

 

may need a new ecm. have you had the car scanned?

 

thanks for the reply,, I got that problem fixed, took the dash apart and cleaned all plugins from gauges. put it back together and everthing worked perfect...now I parked it overnite and it won't start. I've put a new fuel pump and spider injectors. and a rebuilt ecm, programed to my serial # it ran good for a while, but now won't start at all. don't even act like it wants to. I've got 60 lbs on the rail and I've got a good spark. I even tried the new learning process, thought maybe the new ecm forgot the code. still no start.......any suggestions?????
