Default Water Noise in Dash

Alright, I've had this water noise in my passenger side dash for a while now and it's starting to really bug the crap out of me
Every time I hit the gas seems like water is moving around in there.
Also when i turn on the AC, same swooshing noise, and it's noticable.
When the AC is on there is also a good amount of water coming out from under vehicle (just inside of passenger side wheel well area). Idk if something is plugged in there or what.

I really want this fixed but don't know how to go about this. If I can fix it myself that'd be great. I'm no mechanic but am decent with tools and don't want to take my blazer to a garage where I'm gonna get nickle and dimed.

Anybody got any suggestions??
Thanks, Andrew

Ok....here it is. Its your heater core.
take the hoses off and then flush it out using your garden hose...then refill the system and get the air out of it as well.
There...see not to bad.
Its a common issue with these rides...the core gets a little plugged and the flow gets restricted and /or its aire in the system.

And the water from your ac being on is just condensation....normal thing.

Warthogdriver MAY be correct.. or not.
98 Lumina same thing as you have but NO puddle.
It's unusual that you have condensation coming out AND still in the heater box but it's possible the water's high enough to find another way out. USUALLY it wets the floor on the passenger side.
The condensate drain is typically in the firewall below the evaporator core. It can be hard to find on some cars, havent needed to on the Bravadiva but just did on the Lumina because of the 'slosh' and it was obvious.
It will look like a rubber plug or nipple. Take a strong light and crawl under.

alright, so unplug the hoses going through the firewall and just spray away down one of them? Does it matter which one? and for how long do i do it?

i may need a step by step to get the concept

We are talking about two entirely separate problems, here:
I immedately thought of condensate in your heater box, because I just dealt with the same problem with same noises, yesterday
WHD is talking about the classic 'air bubble' gurgling noise when air goes through the heater core that SOMETIMES results from the engine and radiator not being full of coolant.
FIRST check your radiator cold first thing in morning. Is it full? If so it still may be trapped air, BUT noise should go away after truck warms up. Read some of these..

If it keeps happening then I will bet your condensate drain is either partially or fully blocked and the water you see is draining from some other place in the heater box. There is SOMETIMES also a musty smell.

Maybe try https://blazerforum.com/forum/engine...97/#post528365 to purge the system of air. It's an old school way of doing it.

You don't say where you live. In humid Florida all cars left a puddle on the ground which was condensate. In bone dry Arizona that is rarely seen.

I live in AZ (Casa Grande) and it has started doing it in my Blazer (2000 LT 4x4 4.3 106k). I replace the rad oh about 3 yrs ago. I think the old gal is just getting tired.
