Default What size are the front hub bolts?

Specifically the 3 that hold the wheel hub to the spindle.

I think they are all 18mm but one was so rusty last time I had to use a 17mm to get it off. Would like to replace all three this weekend when I replace the hub (again).

anyone know the sizes? I assume any hardened bolt of the same size from the local hardware store will work?

Will

roycet4 is an unknown quantity at this point
Default been there, done that..

12x1.75 50mm long Hardened bolts. The originals are 18mm hex head, I too needed to use a 17mm to take off a few of mine. My dealer did not have the bolts in stock but I was able to buy the bolts at a local (very good) hardware store

How many miles are you getting on the new hubs? What kind are you using? What are you torquing the center 36mm hub nut to?
I am just curious because I just replaced a hub last year and it is getting noisy again after only 15k miles. I used Autozone, but I think I overtightened the center nut to 123 ft#s when I believe it should be just 103ft#s.
Cheers

I don't remember the brand but it was from the local auto place. I tq'd the nut to 100 lbs. Found out later it should be 103 but doubt the 3lbs is what the problem is :-)

I have less than 1000 miles on the new hub.

Thanks for the info. Maybe someone will figure why hubs wear so quick. Anyway happy wrenching this weekend.
