whats the correct way to bleed 1995 rear brakes with drums and ABS ?

Default whats the correct way to bleed 1995 rear brakes with drums and ABS ?

I just replaced 10" of 1/4" brake line under the drivers side door and was wondering if i can bleed the rear brakes only the traditional way like an old car?

yeah shouldnt be any different then a 1980 car. better spray those bleeders down with oil to make sure they break free

The way i do it with ABS is to run the car while bleeding them, with older cars that dont have ABS you dont need to (gotta think LH drive, im in australia so its normally RH drive).

Start with your passenger rear, then driver rear, then passenger then drivers side wheel.

You should find the brake pedal will have the right pressure, been rule of thumb ever since i had my HSV (holden special vehicle), now have a 2000 Trailblazer LT

I bled my brakes with the engine off and in the order furthest wheel from the master cylinder first and i still have a spongy brake pedal, why? i have been driving like this for a while now. and why would it help to have the engine running during bleeding? also i had a line from the bleeder going to a cup with brake fluid in it and i bled them by myself, does that matter that i did it that way?

Did the master cylinder ever get low enough to pull air in (either before or during the bleeding procedure)? If it did, it can sometimes be ridiculously time consuming to get it bled out properly.

I never let the fluid get below the Minimum fluid line on the master cylinder. and i dont think i was pumping the brake pedal fast enough where the fluid whould splash around and catch air....but i did have the lid on it so i could not see. im thinking im doing something wrong. i could never find that button pin on the proportioning valve either....
