Default Weird RKE stuff - Help!

Used2002 4x4 4DR LT recently purchased from dealer. No Key FOBS came with it and dealer had no further info on it. This is what I've found out so far:
RPO-
AUO: No, but....
ZQ6: Yes. Per the Chevy Tech, this RPO indicates "SPECIAL PURCHASE PACKAGE III which from his screen includes, among other things, 'Remote Keyless Entry".

Based upon this, I've ordered two Chevy 2002 Blazer RKE FOBS and should be showing up any day now. However, I had doubts so I pulled open the kick panel and did confirm that there was an RKE device installed but it was this:

CRIME/STOPPER (R)
CS-845 RKE module

It looks very non-factory and there'sevena red LED light installed beside the radio. Haven't had time to see if there'sa valet switch yet, butit's probably there somewhere.

Questions:

1.) The module above is not the standard RKE model for this year, is it? Am I safe in assuming that this was probaly installed by the dealer?

2.) Will the standard Chevy Key FOBS work with this or should I not even try(as it would be easier to return if the package is unopened).

3.) If the standard key fobs won't work, any advice? Should I try to find generic key fobs or would it be easier to replace the whole system with somethingelse?

4.) I have a problem with the interior dome light, it won't shut off when I shut the doors and I have to hit the "dome light override button" and it's getting really annoying not having a dome light any more. Could this be related to the RKE module?

5.) Over in the fusebox, I see a red wire hastillyjamed into the 15ACigarette lighter fuse socket(along with the fuse)and I think it's coming from the RKE module. What the crap?

Thanks!

no, its not factory.
you might be able to find fobs for it online, but your chevy ones will not work
you will have to search for the model number online and try to get remotes that way.

if it was installed using power from the fuse box, i would pull it out and have a professional put one in. that is not ideal at all.

Alright, I think I've confirmed that this is an aftermarket RKE unit. Apparently, it did come with a factory RKE unit but someone decided to replace it with this crappy unit which has the only additionl benefit of having a starter disable switch. WTF?

If I was able to score a new RKE unit, a factory one, am I going to have any trouble just plugging it in the same plug or am I likely to have issues?

So long as the factory plug is still there anyway...

On the dome light, well, sounds like you have one of the door switches keeping it on.
