Default will these mirrors fit on my blazer

i have a 1998 blazer ls 2 door. my father took off my passenger mirror yesterday, so when **** breaks i normally decide its time for an upgrade. i never liked the mirrors i had but i liked the ones on my buddys blazer, and i was wondering if the harness would be the same of a 1999 blazer side view mirror. and i plan on changing both by the way.

my mirror =

99 mirror =
sorry about the size if its huge

Since the doors are the same I would venture to believe that those would fit.But... are the plugs the same? If not you may be able to just snip & splice, but look closely first.
For Example:The rear hatch acctuator on looks identical on all model years, but there were slight differences throughout the run,They can be slightly modified to function fine,so I feel the same may be possiblly true with those mirrors, which,by the way, look SO much better than the originals! Good Luck! Step 66

they will fit but the plug will be different. I betcha you could splice and change the plug to work. You may not have the 'heat' function that came with the newer mirror because the wire most likely won't be there but you might be able to 'juryrig' that also. jerry

Someone on the forum put the newer style mirrors on his rig a while back. I remember he had to change the plug, but I think there was a wiring diagram posted in the thread. I'll try to find the thread and link it.

*edit*

Found it! It looks like it has all the info you need. Here's the link: https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-generation-s-series-1995-2005-tech-41/02-power-mirrors-97-wiring-help-28371/
