Well I can definitely confirm that the Part# 45D3317/6 have the WRONG description (they are LS not ZR2) and the RIGHT picture.

I re-ordered the "LS" part with the correct picture, wrong description. Time to wait another few days.

I have yet to start my front end rebuild and am very anxious to know which part number works on the ZR2. I was going to do as you have done but after two failed attempts to get the right arms I just purchased new joints and bushings. I would rather replace the whole arm than replace the joints and bushings like planned. Please let us know when you get them.

My new arms are supposed to arrive tomorrow. I will update with specific info and links if they do actually show up. Install won't happen for 3 weeks but with a couple of quick measurements I should know right away.

tl;dr:
These are the ZR2 LCAs.

Ok here are the order details:

ULTRA-POWER RK622213 {Click Info Button for Alternate/OEM Part Numbers} (Economy) With Ball Joint Info
Front Left Lower; 4WD; SWAY BAR LINK MOUNTS OUTBOARD OF SHOCK; w/o ZR2 Highrider

ULTRA-POWER RK622212 {Click Info Button for Alternate/OEM Part Numbers} (Economy) With Ball Joint Info
Front Right Lower; 4WD; SWAY BAR LINK MOUNTS OUTBOARD OF SHOCK; w/o ZR2 Highrider

So clearly the description is WRONG, this is a ZR2 LCA and the swaybar link is mounting forward of the shock WRT the vehicle.

I measured everything as best I could and it all works out. I've shown the swaybar link bracket distance from the LCA bushing axis(measure perpendicular from the axis to the mount hold center). I was getting 9.5" +/-. See other photos for sanity.

Nilism,

Were these the correct LCAs for your ZR2? I have a 1998 ZR2 I am trying to reuild the front end on and cannot for the life of me find the correct LCA's. If these were correct did you install them and have you had any issues. I found factory ones but they will be 650 bucks for the two LCAs and not really wanting to pay that much for two LCAs.

You saved me a lot trouble! I couldn’t understand why the picture of the new part for the location of the sway bar bracket did not match what’s on my 2004 ZR-2. This helped me to order the correct parts. Thank you!
