Unhappy 1995 Blazer Won't Start

Out OOf the blue, my son's 95 Blazer won't start. Brand new battery. When the door is open, the lights start flashing and the buzzer goes of as though the key is in the ignition. If you ckose the door, the buzzer goes for a while as does the tail and parking lights flash, then they'll stop. If I turn the key in the ignition, it sounds like there is a low buzz sound from the engine compartment... not the starter!. Does Blazer have some type of Anti-Theft protection that may have screwed up when the battery when low/dead over the past week or so???? Any help would be appreciated.

Talking Resolved

So I called my son (after an hour or two of trying to figure what was going on... pulling fuses, relays, connectors). He asked if I was opeing the door with the key or with the FOB... I was using the Key. Apparently, when the battery was going bad then would not allow starting the vehicle; something set the ALARM and no start when the new battery was installed. So after using the FOB to unlock, lock and unlock the vehicle... everything reset and now no flashing lisghts, no more buzzer when door is opened and vehicle starts like new!!
