Default 1995 s10 loss power

Hi new to site, driving my s 10 with 2.2 Monday and cannot run over 50 mph. Number 1 and 4 has no spark. I replaced coil and still same problem. Compression is good. I can smell gas probably from cyl not firing. Any one had same issue in the pass? Any help greatly appreciated

How do you know that two cylinders have no spark?

Do you have any codes?

Have you changed anything recently?

As its running I pulled plug wires and no engine change or spark out of 1 and 4 . If I pull 2 truck dies and if 3 is pulled engine changes. I've changed coil packs, wires and plug.

That tells you that those cylinders are not contributing. You do not know why yet. It can be spark, compression or fuel. On the cylinders that show no change in rpm when the plug wire is pulled, check and see if there is spark at the plug. On a cylinder that does show an rpm reduction, check and see if you have 1" of strong blue spark.

Have you done a compression test?

Is there a circuit or fuseable link that 1 and 4 ties into? I did replace coil but no change

Do you have 1" of strong blue spark at the plugs of the functioning cylinders?

Also if you swap coil packs do the functioning cylinders change?
