Question 1996 Blazer Power Wire

I purchased a 1996 Blazer LT with the engine out and tore apart, all of the parts were in boxes. I have it all back together now ready to start. My problem is I have no power to the body. I have no wire feeding the body. On the battery I have a large black wire going to the starter, one large red wire to the alternator and one small red wire goes behind the battery with a plug that goes into the wiring harness. Trying to find out does the feed wire go from the battery, alternator or starter and were it hooks in. Any help would be great.

Just went through the same thing myself. Here is a diagram of the charging system. Mine is a 97 but I believe the 96 is the same. There is a second connection that needs to connect to the output stud of the alternator and it is this one that powers everything interior. It is coming from the wiring harness back near the oil fill tube and should just reach the alternator. It is a black wire on mine so that kinda confused me for a while.
