1997 Jimmy fuel pump

I am replacing the fuel pump on my 1997 jimmy and Im thinking about ordering it online. The price differences on different websites are so drastic it makes me wonder if im missing something. Is there any difference between the $85 dollar one here:
http://www.1aauto.com/1A/fuel_pump/C...tm_content=FPU

and the $300 one here:
http://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/...ek+Google+Base

is this the kind of thing that it doesnt matter the price, or should i go with an expensive one?
thanks

not sure on a 97.but on my 1999 you need the entire module.thats the price difference.one is probably only the pump.the expensive one is gonna be the one if i am correct.but i would not order this online.if you get a bad one you will be without the vehicle till you sed it back and then they send you a new one.i went local and glad i did.on my third one alredy in less than 2 years.thats just my opinion though.

I guess it's difference of if you want to replace it again in 6 months or not? lol

Get the delphi... I put one in mine, still going strong.

I bought mine off ebay for 55 buck brand new and that was the entire module including fuel sender. It was the same brand autozone was selling for $300.00. That was about 3 years ago.

ok this is really frustrating me. I just replaced the fuel pump about a week ago. It has been starting and running just fine and today I try to start it and it kinda halfway starts then dies. When i turn the ignition there is just a clicking noise.

Where is the clicking noise coming from?

Have you jumpered the prime wire under the hood to see if the fuel pump will come on ?

yeah the fuel pump is working i can hear it turn on.

Before you decided to replace the pump. did you verify it as being the source of your problem by following all the steps in 96+ Fuel System Diagnosis?
