I posted before about my bravada having the random multiple misfire issues but on my trip cross country the engine heated up and cooked. So after a week layover in a small iowa town and 2000 dollars for another engine and labor the misfire is gone but I am now getting an error code P0507 "Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected" What would cause this and is it an easy CHEAP fix. Any help is greatly appriciated

 

the idle air control motor may be bad or check for vaccum leak this is probly more of your problem spraying carb cleaner anywhere you think there is a leak with the engine running and listen for changes in rpm
