1999 blazer grille swap for 1996 jimmy?

will that interchange and just snap in and all the light connectors connect right up?
on my 99 blazer the turn-signals are below the headlights and on the 96 jimmy the turnsignals are on the side of the headlights

thanks

There is a how to around here for a swap from 96 to 99 style grille. It isnt that hard. You just need to do it in reverse. The bumpers are diff though

Ummm: On the 95-97 Blazer/Jimmys there were two different headlamp styles used:Standard sealed beam and composite and the turn signals were actually in the bumper, the side marker lamps flashed alternately from those. Dependant upon the headlamps originally installed in your 96,if composite, you should be able to utilize the existing harness for the headlamps, but didn't the newer parking lamps have two widely separated bulbs? Splicing will be required IMO. And while Wart has a point about the bumpers, the frames didn't change so I am not aware of any refit issues. Advise if I am wrong, tho

the rad support, headlight mounts, bumper, bumper mounts and air dam are all different between the 2. if the 96 has composite headlights the wiring is fine, if it has sealed beams, some minor rewiring is needed.
