1999 blazer heating issues

Default 1999 blazer heating issues

you used to be able to cook an egg from the heat i used to get now i gel little to no heat if i turn it past 3 it starts to blow cool air any sugestions? and how hard is it to flush the heater core how do I go about doing it. I am living in niagara falls canada and it gets cold as hell here and I have a 3 year old boy i cart around any help would be apreciated i had a leak in my rad I uesd bars stop leak and my levels are fine in my rad now.

take off the 2 black heater hose lines. get your self a garden hose and flush it both ways.
stop leak plugs heater cores up

Does the temp gauge read normal to? If it don't maybe t-stat.
