1999 blazer idle pick up problems
 

have a 99 blazer for some time takes at times numerous turns to start will run they shut down if u dont let it warm up when u put into drive wil die but seems to allways idle.if any u guys/gals have the ansewer please unemployed need this car single dad please help

Sounds like the IAC (idle air control) valve may not be functioning properly. It is in the throttle body. I would start by removing and thoroughly cleaning the throttle body. See if that helps.

what about the charcoal filter or a purge valve

the main thing this car will do is when u rev up it will go up to 4000 then drop right out have to control gas pedle to get rpms up any ideas?

Like Kyle said, concentrate first on the IAC and throttle body.
