1999 differential output shaft right hand side question

2 Attachment(s)
Hi all, got an odd dilemma. I had the right side differential output shaft bearing disintegrate. Made a random vibration at around 50mph or so. Anyway, tore the right side down, removed the CV shaft, and the diff output shaft popped out with it. Not a big deal, needed to come out to replace the bearing and seal anyway. However, the shaft is measured at 1.125" diameter, and all the part stores say the bearing has an ID of 1.25" Anyone else run into this problem trying to buy a replacement bearing?

ZR2 has a stronger front differential, that might be the difference.

looking at part number GM 2605-3326 in doing some online research, it looks like the bearing in question rides on the outside of the cv shaft that fits into the tube end. Makes sense, since the remnant of the original bearing measured just over 1.75"

Am I right in this thinking? (1999 4dr blazer LT non ZR2)

1999 4 door Blazer LT is NOT a ZR2. It will not be present on your RPO code list in the glove box. ZR2 is 2 door only.

The bearing in question, is it #4 in this image?
