2000 Blazer wont start

I have a 00' Blazer that wont start. It ran fine last night when I parked it. Today it wont start. It does turn over, just wont start. Can anyone give me any ideas what all the problem could be? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee

My small engine teacher taught us that an engine needs gas, spark and compression to run. I'll assume you have compression, but only you can tell us if you're lacking gas or spark. (we need more clues)

Well Ive got 1/2 tank of gas in the truck. It cranks just fine. Sounds like its not getting gas. Ive just been told it could be either the fuel pump or problem with Passlock. How can I tell which it might be?

Mine woke up today with the same problem. I have recently replaced the in-tank fuel pump ($650), and I can hear it start and stop when i turn on the switch. So I wonder what else the problem could be? I am SO tired of putting money into this thing.

Fuel pressure test. Both of you.

cb_murray, you may want to create your own thread on your problems as to not take someone else's problem thread off in a different direction.

Just an update. Truck went to mechanic. Fuel pump had gone out so he replaced fuel pump and fuel filter. $518.95. Not to mention the $120 wrecker bill to get the truck there. Thank god I had purchased for a measily $300 the extended service contract. My grand total of out of pocket expense...$50.00 Yes just fifty bucks :)
Im definately happy its up and running. So much so, the first thing we did was go 4wheelin ;) It will prolly cost me more at the car wash then what I paid for getting it fixed lol. But hey, it was bought to have fun in anyway ;) lol

Glad you got it fixed and didn't have to spend a lot of money! Thanks for the follow up.
