2001 to 1997 fuel system compatibility

Good Day! I have found a nice 2001 blazer for sale for cheap, but with relatively high miles for its age (180K ) While it is road worthy and nice looking from 20 feet, the current owner has given up on it,as it will not pass the stringent MD state inspection. That is not really an issue for me as my 97 Jimmy is in far superior shape! But,of course, I could use a few things too! So: are the fuel tanks and the filler necks interchangable on these years? The transmission is the same, but are the solonoids? I am pretty sure about other items I want to put in to my stock for spares:radiator, alternator, wiper motor,MFS switch etc. But what about computer control sensors? MAP,IAC,CPS etc... As my Jimmy is a strong #3 condition, I wont waste my time on body parts as this unit is black and mine is white, but I would not hesitate to put the Blazer grille and headlights on my 97! Again,an easy swap? If I buy this I will strip it for my needs then sell it to part it further to regain my costs. What say you?
Thanks for any input step66
