2001 Blazer 4 wheel drive
 

Hello, I am new to the forum. I wanted to ask a question. I have a 2001 Blazer. The 4x4 lights on the dash went out and only 2 Hi lights now. How can I tell if the 4 wheel drive still works and if not, what can I check or test to see. Thanks for any advice you can give

This isn't really the section for tech questions, but if the light is not coming on it could be the bulb is burnt out, but it could mean that 4x4 is not working. I'd suggest you do a quick search on the forum, and if you can't find the answer to your problem post up in the 2nd gen tech section where you'll get a lot more exposure and help with your problem.

When I start mine up all 4 lamps light up briefly on my 4wd switch before reverting to whatever mode the system was last used in. Apparently this is a quick test that runs to check out the system. Does yours do this?
