My driver side wiper seems to have "shifted". What I mean is in the down position the blade actually rests on the plastic at the base of the windshield. Can anyone tell me how I can adjust the wiper placemement? I'm sure it is something simple but I'd like not to break anything. Thanks in advance for any help...

Remove the nut then pull out on the arm. Sounds simple huh... The spring on the arm makes it quite difficult, especially to reinstall. If you can do something (anything) to hold the arm straight as to not apply any moment on the pivot point, it would be much easier to remove.

Thanks for the reply.... Exactly which nut are you referring too? Is it the plastic "nut" at the base of the arm, where it connects to the vehicle?

The plastic is just a cover. Remove that and you will see.
