2001 Blazer starts idles but will not rev

Default 2001 Blazer starts idles but will not rev

Motor will start right up idles perfect,hit the throttle justs boggs and doesn't rev up,put new filter on same deal,can hear pump running,don't have any way to check fuel pressure but I'm thinkin fuel pump.Does anybody else have any other thought.:icon_confus ed:

does it bogg and sputter? die? or is it like hitting an early rev limiter?

Low fuel pressure and these trucks just dont run.

Just Boggs,put it in gear to take off hit the gas pedal and dies.starts right back up same thing.it will sit and idle all day hit gas pedal boggs let up idles.

If the check engine light is on, get the codes retrieved and post them here in the order they are retrieved. If it's not on, you need to get your hands on a fuel pressure tester.
