2001 olds bravada

the abs and brake lights come on sometimes on the dash but doesnt show codes when the tech II is hooked up? what could it be?

Perhaps a bad connection at a wheel sensor or a bad sensor. BTW, I moved your thread to the '2nd Gen Tech' section. The 'GMT 360/370' section is for the TrailBlazers/Envoys

Are you sure you are accessing the EBCM with the Tech II and not just the PCM? ABS codes will not be stored by the PCM.
