2001 RHD blazer passenger window
I have a 2001 Blazer, 4.3L V6, LT four door 4wd. It is the Japan model, RHD. My passenger window stopped working . I thought the window motor had gone bad so I ordered a replacement regulator/motor and installed the new parts. In replacing the regulator, I found a black relay between the window switches and the window motor. It has a part number on it I can't seem to trace. it says " GM, KOA 98405079050" This, as it turns out, has a bad connection in it. If I wiggle the connector, the window will work. If I let go, it stops working. I am not sure if the connector is bad or if the relay is bad.
I would prefer to replace the connector and the solenoid but I cannot find the part listed anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas? |
relays usually have a numbered terminals like 86 87 http://www.napaechlin.com/Featured+P...s/Content.aspx
take a look where the terminals poke threw If it does you should be able to take your relay to any major auto part supply and swap it with a similar relay You would be able to just release the wire terminals from the connector and plug them on the new relay |
Thanks. I will need to pull the door apart again.

Ok, have the module in hand. The first terminal says 456001 and the third terminal has a 1. It physically looks like #16626458 for the Cadillac window.
