2003 Blazer Rear Liftgate Glass Actuator
 

I couldn't open the rear liftgate glass after pressing the liftgate door button. The emergency release procedure listed in the owners manual, has you locate center of carpet below liftgate glass bump. Cut a small slit in the top of the carpet panel insert a tool and "press the lever to the passenger side". I had no luck with this. All I could see was the blue broken actuator connector, and upon pressing that to left the glass wouldn't open. They should tell you to insert a coat hanger with a short 1/2" L shaped loop at the end into this emergency hole and fish down to the drivers side and locate the metal lever that fell below the hole out of view. Once you hook the lever, insert a screwdriver in the metal levers hole and press to the passenger side and the glass popped right open. I am posting picture that shows a pinhole in the blue plastic actuator connector, it is no wonder it fails! I hope this is helpful to anyone with the same problem.
