2005 2 door blazer fuel tank

I have a 2005 2 door 2WD Base model blazer than needs a new fuel tank... I was changing the fuel pump on it myself and part of the tank got damaged. Where can i find a tank that will fit that wont cost me $600?

Rock Auto has one for less than 75 bucks, brand new.

I dont think that one would work, it seems to have extra piping next to where the filler hose would connect that mine doesnt currently have

Your OEM fuel tank should have two hose connections; one for fuel, other is the vent/air.

Some of the 03-05 xtreme? Maybe? have a different filler neck with no vent hose. I bought the metal tank and are currently looking into buying an older style filler neck and just changing it. Or capping the vent tube and running my existing filler neck. Only downside is the rubber coupler that connects the tank to the single tube filler neck isn't made anymore.

Is there anything special about it, like it's molded to a certain shape? If it's just straight hose, you can buy it from some auto parts stores, most boat places, and even on Amazon. Just measure the inside diameter and make sure you get fuel filler hose (not straight radiator hose).

The hose is 1 1/4 inch on one end and 5/8 I think on the other and is molded.

That sucks.

I bought my new fuel filler neck hose and return hose from

https://www.fillernecksupply.com/

I think I paid like $26 including shipping and they worked perfectly.

BTW, I just purchased and installed a new fuel tank on my 2001 ZR2 Blazer that I purchased from Amazon for $81.00. It was a Spectra Premium Tank #GM18D, awesome quality.

I also replaced my fuel filler neck with the Spectra Premium # FN741 purchased on Amazon for $44.98
