#3 spark plug
 

What is the easiest way to get this SOB out? the damn steering coloumn is in the way and I cant get my sparkplug socket on, I can get a 5/8" deep socket on but there isn't enough room to get the ratchet on[:@] . '04 2dr 2wd if that matters.

Kyle you thought of me and my post, I feel special!! LOL Ok now seriously on a 2wd it is the easiest way to do it by dropping the steering box down off the frame, takes a few seconds with the 3 bolts then it drops enough to use a socket and extension through the wheel well to get the pesky #3 out!!!

OK, I got that stupid #3 out and replaced. Now when I start it up it sputters ALOT. I checked all the wires and made sure they were all seeted properly and that I pluged them in correctly (1 to 1, 2 to 2, etc) One plug wasn't fully seated and afeter I seeted it properly and restarted the engine it got worse. What did I do?!?!?

I have just recently completed a tune up on my 97 Blazer 6 cyl vortex. I removed the shaft in about 10 minutes.. It was very simple.. Here's a link to show you how in pictures.

are there sparks around any of the boots??? If not you got a wire crossed!!!!!! Did you gap the plugs???

The wires are not crossed I checked and quadrouple checked them, I did not gap the plugs because on the box it said in bold caps "DO NOT GAP NOT ADJUSTABLE"

I stayed with the AC Delco Platinum Plugs... and I did adjust the gaps on them to be .045 ... I can't speak for Bosch Plugs....Heres my parts list I recently used:

Did you mess with the rotor at all?? Like its position??? I wouldn't have used those plugs, no matter what they say about them being better, there not the only better choice is going from a copper plug to a platnium!!
