Just joined today & need help bad. My wife just put a new trans in 2000 Blazer. First snowfall tried to put it back in 4wd or AWD and nothing. In the shop now. Shop said not under the trans warranty. What are some of the possibilities and is it worth fixing. My wife loves her Blazer and we use it to tow M/C and pop-up. Please help.

Is your 'service 4wd' light on in the dash cluster? If it is, you should look into getting the codes scanned by someone with a scantool capable of reading the TCCM codes. That will give you some direction to go in.

If not, then I would start by checking the electrical connections at the TCCM which is located behind the passenger side kick panel just in front of the passenger side door under the dash.
