96 blazer cruise control issue.

hey everyone. I have been googling all day trying to resolve an isue with my 96 blazer auto 2wd. cruise control would work periodically, now isnt working at all.. I have replaced brake switch, multi purpose switch, both of which have yielded no better results. The cruise cable is connected to TB, could it be my servo that is the culprit? I have been searching for answers online so i decided to join this site to hopefuly find a result.. Thanks in advance. Billy

Vacuum

IF your Cruise Control unit has a vacuum line attached I would check the
vacuum in this line. Just make sure their is vacuum in the line ; as to the actual vacuum psi - I would only guess.

2nd Perform A Intake Manifold Vacuum Test on your vehicle.

Fill 1/2 of tank with Premium Gas - Octane Level and Cruise Control are
best friends on many vehicles.

There is no vacuum associated with this cruise control unit. Its all electrical.

Cruise Control

When was the last Engine Tune-Up ?
Just a suggestion - I have seen Tune-Up , Timing (most specific) and Fuel
Octane - effect Cruise Control Function.

I bought it 3 days ago and went straight to parts store for tune up supplies

On a side note, on the 96 model, is the fuse block on the side of the driver side dash the only one on the vehicle, because I cant seem to find a cruise control specific fuse..

Fuse

On the GMC Jimmy : :
Fuel Pump and other Fuses/ Relay's behind or under the Glove Box - I would dis-assemble Glove box and/or under.
Engine Compartment contains Relay's closest to Firewall
and on the right side Engine Compartment cowl looking from Front of Engine.

I have the main fuse block I mentioned, in glove box there are 3 relays, and on passenger side firewall I have 3 relays.

Cruise Control

I do see a Engine Speed Sensor for Automatics which is located behind
the dashboard in the Haynes Manual generic for most of these similar vehicles.

Hooked to a snap-on scan tool and showed speed sensors working.. :/ this has got me confused
