97 Blazer 4.3L, Ignition bypass ?

Trying to sell the engine out of this wreck, Key won't turn it over to start it, but used to before the interior and some other parts were removed, most everything from the dash forward is still intact. Suspect a problem with an aftermarket alarm/disabler system with lost control and code (has a numeric keypad on the dash) and would like to be able to at least get it to turn over.

Anyone know an easy way to jump the starter to get it to turn over to test it? Hard to see in there and nothing like old starters where it could be done with a screw driver or Fords with the solenoid on the fender well.

Thanks in advance..

follow the wires down from the keypad, or look under the dash. will be either a yellow or purple wire coming through the firewall up to the ignition. it would have been cut and the keypad spliced in with relays. reconnect the starter wire together and hotwire the car. should fire pretty easily then

Thanks, Disabling the alarm/disabler was easy, (barely enough wire to hook the yellow ignition wire back together and just clipped the others off where they were spliced into others)
It fired up without too much trouble after sitting for a couple years and just using a portable jumper/booster pack. The original battery disconnected and showing reverse polarity no matter which way it was hooked up and a badly corroded + cable end that needed to be cleaned.
Had to keep the key on for a bit before it would run on it's own, a little rough when it caught, smoothing out quickly and started instantly now on the worn down jumper pack.

Still wonder where to bypass the starter and ignition to remote start it for doing the compression test. though nothing looks easy to get at to make much of a difference.
