97 Blazer! Do I have to bleed the fuel lines

Hi Forum,

after removing my cylinder head and fixing my valves seats. I put all together.

I am assuming that al gasoline in the spider has been vaporized.

Do I have to bleed the fuel line??? The engine won't start after putting all back together?

Thank you for you help.

i think all you have to do is let the fuel pump do it. cycle the key like 5 or 6 times. each time you should hear the pump come on and run for a little bit and then shut off. do that a few times and see if it will start then.

Thank you Twip.

On the fuel line on top of the upper plastic intake there is a connector to measure fuel pressure. I pushed the valve with my finger nail and air came out.

I will follow you procedure and will see if it helps. I assume I am having air in my spider.

Hope your proposal helps.

Thank you.

I have removed on of my new spark plugs after I have exceuted your proposal

The spark plug was still dry. Only some light gas fumes on the plug.

I wonder how I get the fuel system running again and get the air out of the system.

Thank you for good tips in advanced.
