Default 98 Blazer Rear Lift Gate Glass adhesive Separation - Wont Close

I have a 98 blazer I have slowly been fixing issues on. Today I popped open the rear glass and instead of opening it peeled the adhesive off one side and just lifted up. I managed to get it pushed back down and latched (unsure if it will pop back out) but where do I go from here? Everything looks to still be fine minus the trim and adhesive? Any idea on part numbers needed or what the process would be to get this fixed before it rains next? Also is this common or just my normal luck

I've never heard of that happening.

You could likely get a replacement from a wrecking yard.

I was able to pull a rear glass with garnish out of a 98 Jimmy that should fit but I cant find new pins which apparently you are supposed to replace. I will hopefully get into it in the next couple days, luckily it isnt supposed to rain for the week. Thank you for relying.

Oh good to hear. I never heard of needing new pins. I just reused the old ones.

Keep us posted!
