Default 98 blazer tranny

New to blazer forum so What up! Chevy lovers, so i have a 98 blazer lt 2wd with a busted tranny. Wondering what years will swap out. Have a completely rebuilt 4l60e from my 93 s-15 but it wont hook up properly...anyway, any help wold be most appreciated!

1998 was the first year of the "bolt on" bell housing, (which made the transmission much more versatile). Best to check with a reputable boneyard for fitment, but I believe a 4L60E, 1998 or newer, will fit. Might have to change the bell housing, but that's about it.
