98+ gauge cluster question
 

my blazer doesnt have a tach in its gauge cluster, and id like to have one. are the 98+ s10 series trucks/suvs with the digi odo able to swap clusters to a tach cluster without a bcm reflash like jbodys can? i ask because ive heard if you grab the switch/lights for factory fogs and plug it all in they still wont work without a bcm flash, any truth to this either?

If you swap the cluster, your truck's odometer will read the mileage of the donner truck.
