I consider myself very mechanically inclined and I wouldn't even attempt it.

lol love the hippo. I hear ya bro it is seeming to grow in difficulty but i am not worried yet just need to figure out to make gauges work and the push button 4 wheel drive and i think all will be good. If i go with the newer fi engine will be easy to make stuff work but really wanting the older stuff if i cant no worries there either.

Check these guys out. http://www.currentperformance.com/s10wir.html Just email them with what your doing and they will build you a custom plug and play harness from scratch. Just for fun I emailed them about putting in a motor/tranny combo from an 03 vette and they said it would be no problem. 800 bucks.
