99 blazer evaperator removal help...
Well I have to replace my evaporator coil due to the top nut not wanting to spin and I got quoted 750 bucks to replace it and I don't have that kind of money, does anyone know how to replace or have a link to do it. any help would be awesome

First, you have to have the refrigerant evacuated and stored. You'll also end up having to replace the accumulator, as well. Ask your local community college if their ASE program students can do the evacuation.. you can sell the refrigerant they recover to them, plus they'll probably do a full system performance test and refrigerant purity test in the process. As for replacing the condenser, I'll have to follow up when I'm back home, and not typing this out on a phone.

I already know everything I gotta do There hasn't been refridgerant in there in over 3 years due to the ac compressor being shot. I was in the midst of taking off the old dryer when I realized that the nut on the evaporator wasn't going to move tried torching it using liquid wrench everything nothing worked and I ended up twisting the tube on the evaporator so I gotta replace it and ive read the service manual on how to do it but there is gotta be an easier way to do it. Ive seen somebody on here that did it an easier way but the thread is so old the pictures don't work.
