99 blazer help me

Long story short I bought my blazer for what I thought was a song. it ran great the first day I drove it over 120 miles. Parked for the night the next day when I started it it was running rough it was raining, figured it was old ignition parts so I went to replace them, upon visual inspection all the wires plugs cap and rotor were good and barely used. so I returned the ones I purchased and had the codes scanned. p0171 p0174 p0300. I replaced the coil since it was the only part not new in the Ignition. still ran like poo.

talked to a good mechanic friend of mine he said Intake gaskets cause you are running lean.

I spent 14 hours replacing these gaskets.
started the truck it still ran the same.

Now it is raining this morning and my truck will not start.

help me please !!! :icon_hyper:

Check your fuel pressure in your engine bay? Maybe replace the fuel filter and possibly the sending unit? Could just be a lack of fuel

I would get another and test it, make sure to have the key on the on position so the fuel pump will run (if it's working) pressure should be around 60 psi if I remember correctly

I agree with Blazerguy check your fuel pressure. I had the nightmare P0300 code but did not have the lean fuel codes my problem was the distributor was bad. Check your fuel pressure and if it is ok pull the distributor cap grab the rotor pull up on it and try to wiggle it back and forth if it moves at all replace the distributor.

update:

new fuel pump truck still does not run.

Distributor is loose moves 5-10 degrees.
hopefully that will fix it

Did you replace your filter after your fuel pump. Had to do mine twice after I replaced my pump.

Update #2

distrubitor replaced , installed correctly checked timing with light is firing on correct mark for #1 cylinder

Blazer does not start.

the dist. came with a new pickup in it I have tried my old one and the new one to no avail.

as of right now there are no codes since it has not run.

another update fpr was leaking I am rebuilding the injector since I have no money for a new spider

If this does not work I am taking it in.
