So, I tried to find a thread on fixing the "popping" door syndrome (already fixed sagging door syndrome with new hinge pins and bushings). I bought the 2 GM roller and roller pin parts. The dealer claimed you could pop that out and replace the roller and roller pin without removing the pressed in main pin (there are 3 parts to this thing). I could not pound the roller off the main pin so I gave up. Has anyone actually accomplished this without grinding off the top of the main pin and replacing and welding on the new main pin and roller as shown on some web searches?
